Must've been good!

Grahm sure has a lot of playing to do! Thanks Santa, and all the elves that made his first Christmas so special!

First Christmas

Grahm's first Christmas was filled with family, love and presents! The celebration kicked off with the traditional sprinkling of Reindeer food on Christmas eve. Rudolph found his way to Grandma's house, and left plenty of packages under the tree. Never mind what was inside, Grahm was thrilled with all the paper!

We got to visit with Great Grandpa, and the rest of the Kelly gang and then it was off to Nana and Papa's for some more cheer. Can it get any better?

the' Juicer'

It has been pretty amazing to watch Grahm experience all his 'first'... Tonight he had us in hysterics as he reached into the fruit bowl to help himself to his first clementine.  He worked it pretty methodically, squeezing, sucking and gumming.  There were lots of puckers and eye flutters. And juice rolling down off of his elbows.  He seemed to really enjoy it.  If we were looking for a nickname, it could easily be the 'Juicer'.

Bathtime!

He gets one every night, we all look forward to it! Dad says it better: jeffhuttonphotography.blogspot.com

6 month check up

Grahm had his 6 month check up today.

Here are his new stats:
Height: 27inches, 65th percentile (he was 25 at 4 months)
Weight: 18.6lbs, 59th percentile (15.13 at 4 months)

but the kicker is....

Head Circumference: 45cm, 77th percentile!!! That's all Hutton. (he was
43cm last visit)

The doctor was impressed with his posture, and sitting abilities. Not
to mention that when he got his booster, he hardly flinched (though
that was probably because he had a tongue dispenser in each fist and
too busy drumming to notice). All in all, he's healthy.

Grahms sonogram popped up my computer this morning... I remember looking at it, wondering what that little alien was really going to look like -seems like a very long time ago now.

Smile

Grahm is cutting his first teeth -who needs a better reason to take out the camera? Two little pearly whites have made their way out, the front bottom ones if your curious. We think, and hope, this is why his tongue has been sticking out most of the past week.

First Thanksgiving

Grahm celebrated his first Thanksgiving like the pilgrims, in Massachusetts. We ate at Great Grandma Bourques who put together a feast for 25, and even managed to serve it hot! Grahm slurpped up his sweet potatoes, but turned away from the turkey -future vegetarian?

Afterwards, he played the night away with second cousins Emily, Andrew and Jenny. He had a great time, obviously.

Nana and Grandpa's house

We spent the long weekend at Nana and Grandpa's house... rocking, shopping and sitting by the fire. And Grahm finally got to spend some time with Uncle Matt, who was up from Charlotte. Like that sweat suit? It's straight from the UMASS campus store, from great grandpa Bourque!
