We made our annual trip to Stuarts farm upstate. It's a quaint little farm with a pick your own orchard, farm stand and pumpkin patch. We spent the morning sampling the pickins'... Grahm liked macintosh while Momma liked Fuji. Daddy liked all of the above. Grahm filled the bag, plucking easily while perched on Mom's shoulders. That night we made an apple cake from a recipe we found on smittenkitchen.com, and we're happy to report it tasted as good as it smelled.... mmm.
One of Grahm's very first 'photoshoots' was on our little red couch.... he's changed so much since then. Taller, stronger and if possible, even handsomer -and tonight he climbed up on it, just to sit and gab.
There was alot of fun to be had besides the 'crack of dawn' lawn party... While Momma and Dada were off to a wedding, Grahm spent Saturday with Nana at the local zoo, Lupa Zoo. He fed goats, checked out the baboons and took a spin on a trolley. Grahm was especially interested in feeding the baby goat. Nana wasn't sure why he chose that one, but Momma suspects it reminded him of Bean. Note the tongue.
Sunday was a bit lazier, lounging in the sun, snacking and playing with a new bat and ball set. Bean was pretending he was a goat in the petting zoo, waiting for his treat....
Grahm visited his Nana and Papa's out in Belchertown this weekend. He loves their house, especially the huge yard. He's ready to go out and play on the grass, the minute the front door opens -even if that's at 8am, as it is here.
Grahm loves to clean. Mopping, sweeping, dusting...but he especially loves vacuuming. We actually had to buy Grahm his very own play vacuum, because every morning first thing out of the crib, he wanted to lug the real dirt devil out to start hoovering. Those genes must be from daddy, can you tell?
A couple of rainy weekend back, Grahm had a playdate with Cleo and Ella over at Ella's house. Not only does Ella have three steps leading into her living room, but she also has a bunch of big girl toys that she was more than happy to show the little ones how to use. Needless to say, Grahm had a great afternoon.
