What a difference

Wow, what a difference 3 months makes. One picture was taken tonight, the other in August. Can you tell which is which?

Working on some holiday magic

And here are a few out takes, but still so cute....

Grahm's Gang

We were invited to Camilo's house tonight for a delicious barbecue, where Grahm met a new boy -Simon. Here's a picture of his ever growing gang of friends -from left to right: Grahm, Alice, Camilo, Simon, Cleo

Brought to you by the letter F

Friday was for fun with friends. Cleo, Camilo and Alice all came over and took turns in the exersaucer and bouncer. Good sharing, gold stars for all!

All I want for Christmast is a toothbrush

Grahm is a very lucky boy, who has a ton of toys....so what does he play with the most? Mommy's toothbrush of course.

Cheerios are fun for everyone!

Grahm is working on mastering the pincer grip -picking up objects between the thumb and index finger. Bean will help him practice anytime.

Playing with the big boys

Grahm hung out with his buddy Mikey today.  Mikey is two months older, which makes him especially cool in Grahms book.  Grahm seemed to watch his every move, babbled his ear off and wanted every toy that Mikey had.  Mikey took it all in stride, as older boys do.

Long Island City

We went exploring and ended up in Long Island City.  And eventually at Gantry State Park which has great views of the skyline, and the East River.  Bet the 4th of July fireworks are spectacular from here.

Running Behind

Literally and Figuratively. We watched the marathon last weekend, and I am finally jut getting to post some pics.... The black and white one is Jeff's, who by the way, started his own blog (that has more marathon pics up)

The NYC marathon runs right through our neighborhood...its quite the anticipated event. People line the streets to cheer, while local musicians seem to pop up at random and play. Grahm was wide eyed, and relaxed taking in all the sights.

A band in the making

Grahms got the moves, Daddy on guitar.

Whenever Jeff ends up watching Grahm, somehow it always morphs into a jam session. I managed to sneak up behind them to catch this one.

Election night

As Obama made his acceptance speech last night, I couldn't help but get emotional thinking about what a different America Grahm will grow up in. I shared the feeling of so many in our neighborhood last night, which was alive with hope: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--Kej9mV7mA

Fall Visit to Nana and Papa's

Grahm hadn't been up to western Mass since August, but we finally made our overdue trip to his Nana and Papa's last weekend. He had a great time watching the leaves fall from the trees, bouncing on many a knee, and being amused by Aidan (their big brown pony of a dog) and Bean. Daddy took many pictures, with his latest love -an old film camera. You can see more of the trip on his blog, jeffhuttonphotography.blogspot.com

While we were there, Grahm and Kylie Porter had their first date. Grahm was pretty enamoured as she crawled across the floor with grace. More pictures of their "date" on Kylie's blog kylieporter.blogspot.com

More Pictures...

These pics just in from Cleo (Thanks Zoe and Mig!)

A Spooktacular Halloween!

Grahms first Halloween was a busy one... Started out at Still Hip, monkeying around with the older kids -Charlotte and Oscar. Then it was off to Cleo's to hand out candy from the stoop, and watch all the costumes go by. It was quite the gang when Alice and Camillo showed up. All the excitement, and still to young for a sugar high made for a very tired monkey.
