We spent a week in Wells, Maine and it couldn’t have been a better vacation. The weather was gorgeous- each day was sunny with a warm beach breeze. We spent all day on the beach swimming, digging giant holes and boogie boarding. Grahm even invented a new boogie boarding move that we dubbed the land lover –its when you have your nana or papa drag you through the sand, steering completely clear of water. It was catching on by the time we left. We had plenty of seafood, as well as Congdon’s delicious donuts. Ice pops on the deck, and late afternoon swims were absolute favorites. When can we head back?
Grahm was down to using his pacifier only at night (okay, okay, and car rides) but he's officially kicked the habit. Hurrah! Mom and Dad must have felt somewhat guilty, because a train table arrived for no reason shorty after. Grahm woke up to this giant set up (Dad wasn't quite aware how big it really was!) at 6 am one morning. He was in total shock at first, but quickly got to choo-chooing.... One habit for another, he was at the train table for 4 hours straight that day.
Grahm has been honing his creativeness with an art class every Thursday. The class is more about using your imagination than learning to color within the lines. Alot of the projects utilize found objects like this weeks class where they made monster costumes -recognize any of the parts? Pretty cute group of monsters!
